 ABOUT DR BACH

Dr Bach was born in Moseley, Birmingham in 1886. He studied medicine completing his studies at University College London in 1912.  Dr Bach’s health deteriorated in 1917, he was told he had only three months to live.  As soon as he felt well enough he threw himself into his work hoping that he would be able to make some input to medicine before he died.  This work was inspiring and took his mind off his illness.  Months passed and his health had improved so much that he began to think about  how his mental state of mind had such an impact on his health . This led him to the incredible discovery of the Bach Flowers.

ABOUT THE FLOWER REMEDIES

BACH FLOWERS TREAT OUR EMOTIONAL STATES AND HELP TO BRING ABOUT THE REQUIRED POSITIVE CHANGE

The Bach Flowers System consists of 38 remedies. 37 of them are made from a single flower or plant; one is made from spring water. Each remedy is linked to a definite negative state of mind, personality trait, mood or temperament. They help to restore balance in our lives. The preparation of the mother tinctures are made by the Trustees of Mount Vernon and are made in accordance with the instructions laid down my Dr Bach.  Dr Bach wanted the Bach Flower system to be easy to use and available to every one. SIMPLICITY was his key word. As Dr Bach said “every thing in nature is simple” The remedies do not interact with conventional medicine. They act as a form of supportive therapy and is non-habit forming.  (Due to the preparation of the Bach Remedies a treatment bottle will contain a small amount of alcohol).

KEYS TO THE SOUL

On a spiritual level the Bach Flowers are keys to our soul.  They help us to connect to our higher self.  They help us to get back more and more onto that “path of Truth and Light from which we should never have strayed” Dr Bach said “All true knowledge originates within us, growing from the silent communication with our self” If we stay true to our soul, and our destiny, then we are more likely to be happy and be at peace with our self.

THE REMEDIES DO NOT TAKE THE PLACE OF ORTHODOX MEDICINE – NO CLAIM IS MADE ACTUALLY TO TREAT OR CURE PHYSICAL AILMENTS.

Bach Flower Remedies can be safely used to treat CHILDREN – It is important to treat each child as an individual. Situations such as bullying, lack of confidence at school, worrying about exams etc can be addressed using the Bach Flower remedies. Some of the remedies describe personality or character traits. When considering a remedy for a child, it is important to consider the childs natural disposition and choose one of the remedies to suit his or her personality. (If you should need any help or advice with this please E mail me)

Bach Flower Remedies can be safely used to treat PLANTS – Situations such as repotting, transplanting, plants plagued with pest’s etc; it is not surprising that the remedies work magnificently with plants as the remedies come from nature. If you should need any advice please E mail me.
