I run Pawsitive Connections – Bach Flower Remedies & Reiki for Animals, offering Bach Flower Remedies consultations and Reiki for animals, behavioural coaching and training for dogs along with Bach Flower Remedies for people.
I started using Bach Flower Remedies many years ago when my young dog, Emily was struggling with fireworks and other loud noises. We had tried the usual route of playing CD’s, providing safe spaces and using a range of other techniques but had only limited success. As I had been using Rescue Remedy for myself at times I thought it was worth trying with Emily and the difference this made for her was amazing. This started me on a journey to find out more about Flower Essences which has lead me to studying both with the Hoof & Paw Academy and the Bach Centre.
Over the last 20 or so years (where has the time gone!) I have worked as a dog trainer offering a range of different training including one-to-one behavioural coaching for dogs who are experiencing difficulties with day-to-day life, a range of classes including life skills, agility, Scentwork and trick training and I also work as an assistance dog trainer. To support my work I have a diploma in Canine Behaviour from the International School of Canine Psychology & Behaviour and I am a member of the Pet Professional Guild – GB and INTO Dogs.
In addition to working and living with dogs I have experience with horses, reptiles, cats and other animals and I currently have the pleasure of sharing my life with my two dogs, a tortoise and 2 lizards.
I am based in the West of Scotland and consultations can be arranged at a time and place to suit you and your animal. In some cases Skype consultations and distance Reiki treatments can be arranged. Bach Flower Consultations and Reiki are offered to all animals and I am more than happy to discuss any issues you are experiencing to see where we can work together.
